What we do in Mumbai
Full interior design for apartments and bungalows, home decor and styling, custom furniture drawn for your space and made by hand, and artistic revamps of rooms you already have. Mumbai homes are tight on floor area and generous on light, so we plan storage first, keep walls white and let one carved piece carry the colour.
How the studio works
Every project starts with a site visit and a conversation about how you actually live: who cooks, who works from home, where the morning light falls, what you own that must stay. We then design the whole home on paper before anything is bought, so the budget is decided by you and not discovered on site. Execution is by the studio's own carpenters and painters or by your contractor working to our drawings.
The look
Lime-washed walls. Antique carved doors and jharokha panels repainted in one bright, chipped colour. Cane, brass, mosaic, terracotta underfoot and plants in every window. Colour arrives in exactly one place and stays there. If you want a glossy, hotel-lobby finish we are the wrong studio. If you want a home that feels like it has always been there, we are the right one.

Yes. Restoring and repainting old doors, panels and cabinets is a large part of what we do, and a piece with history usually becomes the centre of the room.
How long does a Mumbai apartment take?
A single room takes four to eight weeks from brief to handover. A full two or three bedroom apartment usually takes three to five months, most of it on site.
